That jingling sound you hear is the arrival of Coins for Amazon Kindle Fire users.
Amazon on Monday Announced That customers can use its new Coins to purchase apps, games and in-app items in the Amazon Appstore and on the company’s Kindle Fire tablet.
The e-commerce giant and tablet contender is marking the launch by disbursing 500 free Coins – a $ 5 value, Amazon says – into the Amazon accounts or Kindle Fire Replace existing and new customers in the U.S.
That said its
Amazon Appstore developers will earn the standard 70 percent revenue share when customers make purchases using Amazon Coins.
