Oyster Allows 10 per device and Scribd Allows 20 per device. With all three, you can read a book on up to six different devices

DEVICES:. All three work on iPhones, iPads and Android devices. Scribd and Kindle usefull work on personal computers and Windows devices. Kindle only supports webOS and BlackBerry and dedicated Kindle e-readers zoals the White Paper

EXTRAS:. Kindle is alone in offering free audio books as part of the subscription, with a selection of 2,000 from Amazon’s Audible business. Subscribers usefull get a three-month trial to Audible, which offers one book a month from a larger library.

Testing Amazon “Kindle Unlimited ‘E-book Subscription Service – Mac Rumors

Amazon appears to be testing a new e-book and audiobook subscription service it’s calling “Kindle Unlimited,” which brings unlimited access to 600,000 e-books and thou sands of audio books for a fee of $ 9.99 per month.

According to information discovered by users on the KBoards Kindle forum (via Gigaom) Unlimited service will be the Kindle available on all devices,-including the iPhone and the iPad likely through Amazon’s Kindle app. Amazon has pulled the Pages that were found this morning, but information on the service can still be seen through Google Cache and a single test page .

Users on the Kindle Boards Noted That the 600,000 titles available were either published through Amazon or already available through the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library, Which Allows Amazon Prime members to borrow bestsellers for 30 days. None of the five major publishing companies,-including Simon & Schuster and HarperCollins, Appeared to be participant participating, accordion thing to GigaOM. The launch of Kindle Unlimited usefull would mark a change in the company’s strategy. It would be a standalone service thats not tethered to Amazon Prime’s $ 99 annual subscription, GigaOM notes. The only similar service service thats not linked to Amazon Prime Kindle FreeTime Unlimited, which offers a selection of hand-picked titles or games, videos and books for children and parents. It is usefull only available for users with Kindle Fire tablets.
