Amazon is set to launch the Kindle ebook reader Voyage in India. NDTV Gadgets That HAS learned into the Wi-Fi only version of the Kindle Voyage will be priced at Rs. 16,999, while the Wi-Fi + 3G version will be priced at Rs. 20.499. The launch is likely to happen Within the next 7 days.
Introduced the Amazon Kindle Voyage in September last year along side the 7th generation Kindle. The Voyage is the thinnest Kindle till date,-which comes with a 300 pixel per inch display sporting the highest resolution, contrast, and brightness seen on any of Amazon’s e-reader so far.
The Kindle Voyage comes with a new ambient light sensor adjusts the brightness That of the display as you go along. If you are fond of reading in the dark, you will appreciate this features as Amazon claims the adaptive front light slowly lowers the display’s brightness over time as the eye gets used to darkness. The Kindle Voyage will join the 7th generation Kindle (Review), the Kindle Paperwhite, the Kindle Paperwhite 3G (Review), and the previous Generation Kindle in the lineup or Amazon e-book readers available in the country.
