Amazon India announces discounts, new payment options for Kindle eBook readers
Amazon India HAS Announced a discount of up to 70 per cent on 100 Kindle eBooks across genres, from March 24 to April 13, 2015. In Addition, the online retailer HAS ook Announced additional payment options for Purchases on the India Kindle Store using local credit cards, debit cards, net banking and Amazon.in gift cards.
Starting March 24, customers can buy discounted books from leading authors as well as top-selling titles (including classics) titles from the Nielsen India bestseller lists, non-fiction titles as well as books from the best-selling international authors.
In Addition to more than 3 million eBooks available for purchase, customers can ook download and read as many as 25,000 free classics on Kindle devices or with free Kindle reading apps on Android smartphones and tablets, iPad and iPhone, Mac and PCs, Said The retailer.
“We’re thrilled with the response we’ve had since launch, and today we are delighted to make our store available to an even wider audience by adding new localized payment options and recommendations. ” Said Russ Grandinetti, senior vice president, Kindle.
