Amazon brings Kindle Fire tablets to Belgium - Knack.be

The line tablet from Amazon a long time was only available in the U.S. and in several major European countries, but the Kindle Fire HD comes in June, also in Belgium, in two variants.

In June, the retail giant rolls the HD versions of its tablets in 170 additional countries, including Belgium and Netherlands.

Kindle Fire HD is available in two variants. The 7-inch version has a weight of 395 grams, a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels and a dual-core processor with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. The 16GB model costs $ 214, the 32GB costs thirty dollars more.

And then there’s a variation of 8.9 inches, which weighs 567 grams, a resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels and a processor of 1.5 GHz features. For the 16GB version you pay $ 284 for 32GB of 314 dollars.

Amazon Appstore now available in Belgium
Amazons tablets run on a modified version of the Android operating system, with its own central services. The devices are also linked to its own Amazon Appstore – a kind of stripped-down version of Google Play. This app store is, moreover, already available in our country. Of particular interest is that every day usually paying app is offered for free.

On 13 June countries tablets in Belgium. The devices are now already ordered.
