The Kindle Fire is the iPad tablet overtaken as the most popular reading among American children. A year ago, the iPad still the most commonly used tablet to read.

American children from 2 to 13 years in the classroom, however, most digital books on laptops and desktops, according to a survey from Digital Book World in collaboration with Play Collective. Home is different. That reads 27% of the children who read digital books primarily on a Kindle Fire. The iPad follows in second place with 20%. A year ago the figures were the other way, 22% versus 20% for the iPad for the Kindle Fire.
Another interesting result is that parents are generally willing to pay more when a digital children’s book clearly educational purposes.
Digital Book World held in May this year, a survey of 750 parents of children who read digital books. It is a continuation of an investigation in January When it appeared that 85% of the digital reading children did this at least once a week.
