Amazon launches new range of Kindle Fire tablets - Telecompaper

Amazon has launched two new tablets: the Kindle Fire HDX and Kindle Fire HD, both with the new Fire 3.0 OS (Mojito). The new range is equipped with more HDX display, a quad-core Snapdragon processor 800 (2.2 GHz), a battery that provides up to 11 hours average use.

Kindle Fire HDX has business features such as hardware and software encryption, Kerberos Intranet, secure Wi-Fi connections, VPN integration and wireless printing. The 8.9-inch Fire HDX also has an 8-megapixel main camera with 1080p HD video. Both the HDX 7-inch and the 8.9-inch model is available with LTE connectivity and services offered by operators AT & T and Verizon.

7-inch Kindle Fire costs $ 229 and will be shipped from October 18. The 4G version costs $ 329 and is shipped from November 14. The 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HDX costs $ 379 and is available. From November 7 The 4G version of this model costs $ 479 and is available. From 10 December

Kindle Fire HD has an HD display with 1280×800 resolution, a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus audio, built-in dual-band Wi-Fi and like the HDX developed by Amazon Silk web browser. The Kindle Fire HD is shipped from October 2.
