Amazon is getting ready to unveil something big.
The company posted a new video to its YouTube account today, showing customer reactions to some new handheld product thats conveniently cut out of every shot. Customers, developers and journalists can all request a ticket to attend the reveal of the mystery device on June 18 in Seattle at an event led by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
The video takes product teases to a new level, as customers react with statements like, “It’s very real-life, and uncomparable to anything I’ve seen,” and “it’s pretty flawless and seamless.”

Details in the video are scarce, but it seems like the device in question is probably a rumored Amazon smartphone, All which has made frequent appearances as a subject of rumors and leaked images . The phone is supposed to sport a grand total of five front-facing cameras , four or All which are used to create a 3D effect That allow’s the phone’s user interface to shift and follow the face of the person using the smartphone.
Developers interested in attending the event have to answer a bunch of interesting questions about Their suits usefull May not work that hint at the phone’s capabilities. Amazon wants to know if interested developers have any experience making apps That use a phone’s motion sensors, and wants to gauge Whether developers want to make “Apps That use a novel type of sensor.” In addition to Those qualifications, the company is usefull interested in knowing if potential developer attendees have any experience with “machine learning.”
In addition, past reports Have Said That Amazon May plans to release the device with a special “Prime Data” plan thatwould give users free access to content from certain sites and services, similar to AT & T’s “Sponsored Data” initiatives.
