few weeks ago, Amazon’s Kindle store open for Dutch self publishers and publishers through the Kindle Direct Publishing program. The first publishers have now made available ebooks. The largest Dutch publishers let themselves do not yet see, probably in anticipation of a formal contract with Amazon.
The Dutch
offer ebooks in the Amazon store grows slowly but surely, to now more than 400 titles. In between are many self publishers and copyright free titles, but also publishing Book Centre (Mosaic), Phosphorus and Link offer ebooks in the Kindle Store.
Book Center sells under the imprint Mosaic fifteen titles, including Joke Weathered and Dick van den Heuvel. Publisher Link offers the book temple code and the journalistic publishing Phosphorus has over 30 titles to Amazon uploaded.
not yet the well-known publishers as the groups Lannoo or WPG offer ebooks via the Kindle Store. They probably wait until central contracts with Amazon made through the distributor CSF.
