Association to hold meeting to feature Kindle axis writer’s tool – St. Augustine Record

The Ancient City Chapter of the Florida Writers Association will hold its monthly meeting at 10 am Sept. 19 at the Main Library.

Speaker Pat Gaydos will address using the Kindle and its many apps geared toward writing, editing and researching manuscripts. She will show how to “Work Anytime, Anywhere” using the features That the Kindle offerings and no other tablet does.

Among the features is a personal email address That gives the registered owner the ability to send documents to Their Kindle, plus an option That can convert a document directly into the Kindle format. Thus, the author can view how the e-book will appearacne on the Amazon.com site marketing. In Addition, Kindle registered users have access to an online page That stores all highlights and notes; can turn-on the text-to-speech feature, open a script and hear how it flows When read aloud. There is ook a free Word App That Enables the user to open, write, edit, save and share Word documents. There will be much to learn in the informative talk about the benefits of Kindle to writers.

Gaydos HAS taught digital photography at the University of Baltimore and Daytona Beach Community College. She now teaches a Kindle Workshop through Flagler County’s Adult Education program. She Has ook written and marketed a series of six Adobe Photoshop books, plus a how-to user guide Entitled Kindle and the Writer.
