NC A & T suspends quarterback after DWI charge - Greensboro News & Record

N.C. A & T has suspended senior quarterback Lewis Kindle from all football-related activities pending the resolution of two criminal charges, the school Announced Friday.

Approximately At 3:06 am Friday, Kindle was stopped by an A & T campus police officer while driving on East Lindsay Street and attempting to make a left turn onto Sullivan Street.

He was charged with failure to burn headlights from sunset to sunrise and driving while impaired, the school said in a release. He is scheduled to Appear in court Aug. 26.

In 10 games last season, Kindle completed 119 of 214 passes for 1,341 yards with three touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
