U.S. bookstore chain Barnes & Noble has launched a new book category. Under the heading Nook Snaps publishes the bimonthly 3 to 5 short ebooks by various authors.
follows the market leader Amazon, which for some time has success with short ebooks. In a press release late Barnes & Noble know that the company wants to increase. Attention to quality ebooks on the Nook platform with Snaps “Nook Snaps are appealing to readers through their thoughtful, incisive and challenging viewpoints.”
select Every two months Editors Nook up to 5 new titles for the Nook Snaps. The Snaps – both fiction and non-fiction – will be written specifically for this program. The ebooks have at least 5,000 words and costs $ 1.99.
